Another note to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy & Safe New Year holiday.

We are in Japan visiting my wife’s relatives.  It is so weird to be back here.  It is sort of like coming home.  All of the sites & smells that are unique to this country came flooding back while we were on the JR Rail from the Airport headed to Ikebekuro and then transferring to Oizumi-gaken / Nerima-ku where my in-laws live.

We will be here for a couple of weeks, time to celebrate Christmas and the larger holiday in Japan, the New Year.  Will write more as time permits and events occur.
